If you think and feel deeply, process experiences in a detailed and nuanced way, or find yourself navigating a late ADHD or other neurodivergent diagnosis, life’s transitions, decisions, and daily demands can feel overwhelming or exhausting.

You may struggle to make sense of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, or simply wish for a space where you can slow down, process, and be truly understood. Therapy with me offers a safe, supportive environment to express yourself, reflect, and explore, while developing practical strategies, greater self-understanding, resilience, and personal empowerment.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, depth, and compassion. Therapy with me tends to feel like a reflective, thoughtful conversation where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out. I integrate psychodynamic psychotherapy with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices to help you understand your patterns, clarify your values and needs, and relate to yourself with greater compassion and clarity. I balance depth with practicality, adapting to your unique needs so we can develop tools to navigate anxiety, relationships, daily stressors, health concerns, and broader existential questions.

I value authenticity, humor, and creating a space of genuine acceptance where you can show up as you are. My hope is that therapy feels like a place to exhale, reconnect with your inner world, process experiences with awareness, and access your truest self, innate wisdom, and the courage to embrace truth, acceptance, and meaningful change.

As a former Waldorf teacher and bodyworker/yoga instructor, I bring a strong foundation in human development, applied neuroscience, somatic practices, and holistic health principles. I integrate these perspectives into psychotherapy to support a more connected, self-aware, and balanced life—honoring the connections between mind, body, and daily life in the process of healing and growth.

  • I work with adults of all ages navigating life transitions, relationships, identity, purpose, spirituality, sexuality, and health. I also support individuals recovering from relational trauma, including emotionally abusive relationships, codependency, and family dysfunction.

My clinical work includes mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, and complex trauma (C-PTSD). I provide integrative, psychoeducational support for adults with neurodivergent traits or diagnoses, helping them better understand their minds, needs, and patterns while developing sustainable, affirming ways of living. I also work with women to support women’s health challenges, hormonal changes, and life-stage transitions, promoting holistic well-being, knowledge, and resilience.

I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, expressive, and highly sensitive individuals—including writers, artists, teachers, and other creatives—who are seeking deeper self-understanding, personal alignment, and growth in both their lives and creative work.

IDEAL VACATION:

Somewhere water-rich and tropical with access to true wilderness and minimal crowds—bonus if there are monkeys!

FAVORITE WAY TO UNWIND:

I love finding a local nature trail, spending time birdwatching or herping (big fan of snakes!), and walking until I feel fully immersed—a thoughtful, grounding walk in nature is my go-to.

a life-changing piece of advice you’ve received:

“Wherever you go, there you are.” I first encountered this Zen saying around age 18, and it has stayed with me ever since. It reminds me that true joy, meaning, and potential aren’t found outside ourselves—they already reside within.

skill you’re currently working on:

Cultivating the art of parenting a teenager with humility, strength, and care—and continuing to nurture my ever-growing houseplant jungle! I enjoy tending to growing things and embracing the process of learning and growth.

favorite part about BEING A THERAPIST:

My favorite part of this work is depth—honoring it, engaging with it, cultivating it, and witnessing it.

the RIGHT SUPPORT can and should change your life for the better.

Let us show you how.
